Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?

Guess…the entire country was impatiently waiting to find the answer to this question. Baahubali 2, one of the most expensive films in the history of the Indian cinema, released on 28th April 2020.

Millions of people in every part of the country flocked to the multiplexes to catch the first-day shows in the theatres, as they wanted the mystery to unfold. Katappa, the person Baahubali referred to as Mama (Uncle) and who loved Baahubali dearly, had killed him in the first part. Baahubali 1 was a major hit and it was expected that Baahubali 2 would be a massive hit as well.

However, no one thought that the film would be such a huge hit and would collect so much in a matter of just five days. Baahubali 2 has broken all previous records and has created history by crossing the 100 crores mark in just one day.

The films first-day box office collection was a whopping 108 crores. It made more than 500 crores worldwide in 4 days and the response is the same even on the fifth day, which is today.

It already has crossed 600 crores and the number is expected to increase by the end of the day. Baahubali 2 has been one of the most awaited films of the year 2020, and is probably the only movie down South, that the entire country has been impatiently waiting for.

There are movie theatres in North and East India that experienced more than 20 straight houseful shows. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the movie is based on a mythological fiction story with Telugu actor Prabhas in the lead.

Baahubali undoubtedly is a well-made movie and ropes in all the elements of success — story, thrill action, love, and drama. The quality of VFX and animation work is also beyond comparison as far as the Indian cinema is concerned.

The official trailer on Youtube has more than 51 million views as of now and movie theatre owners can sit tension-free for the next couple of weeks, as Baahubali would surely run houseful. Some fans ended up watching the movie twice already. Higher ticket prices, crowded theatres, the onset of monsoon down South, nothing is stopping people from watching this movie.
